About LifeTypo

We are proud to officially annouce that we are about to launch our most recent project. LifeTypo.com is a social networking website that connects people based on simillar life mistakes that people make. It allows you to share stories of your life regrets and be 100% anonomyous at the same time.

It then provides other readers the ability to communicate with you about these life experiences by posting questions, advice and comments for you. Users can also rate and follow lifetypos that they relate to. They can also private message you to discuss your situation, without ever knowing who they are speaking to - unless you are willing to disclose your profile to them.

By using the site, you will soon realize that people make the same life mistakes over and over again. LifeTypo's main goal is to help people by allowing them to earn from one another, and hopefully not make mistakes. We hope that you have fun, but mainly that you will use this site as a resource when you need help in your life. Don't be shy - it is anonomous.

Purpose of this project

To help the world. Honestly! The primary purpose of this project is so that people can learn from one another on what "not to do". People make the same mistakes over and over again. Don't you wish you had someone to tell you what not to do? ...especially based on their personal expereince.

What is a LifeTypo?

A lifetypo is an event in one's life that is classified as a mistake or regret.

Lifetypo: (n.) is a life mistake, regret, confession, secret, problem in one's life.
Lifetypo: (v.) to make a life error.

Our goals

We have many many things planned. Some main things that you can expect are:

  • Prototype - We will finish the website's model.
  • Functionality - We will finalize all of the techincal stuff.
  • Design - We will create a sexy design so that you can easily navigate.
  • Related Content - It is our personal goal to give you what you are interested in reading. By browsing through the site, the site will automatically recommend similar stories that may apply to what you want to read.
  • Friends - The ability to add friends.
  • Subscriptions - The ability subscribe to other users and automatically recieve new stories that they add to the site.
  • Follows - The ability to follow any lifetypo. By doing so, you will automatically be notified of any updates and new advise.
  • Circle of Trust - allow only selected users to know who wrote the lifetypo.
  • Groups - Relate with people that made similar life mistakes and easily lets you communicate with them.
